Klaus Becker

Since joining KPMG in Germany in 1993, Klaus was appointed Partner in 2001 and became a Member of the German Managing Board in 2006. In 2011, he was named CEO for KPMG in Germany. He is member of the KPMG Global Board and Global Executive Committee. He has experience in the strategic support of DAX-30 companies and financial services clients. Klaus is a member of the Administrative Council of IDW, International Advisory Council of ESMT European School of Management and Technology, Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, Board of Trustees Museumsinsel (Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz, Berlin), Board of Trustees Städel Museum (Frankfurt), Council of Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaft e.V. and Verein Partner der Mannheimer Betriebswirtschaftslehre e.V. (Universität Mannheim). He lectures at the University of Mannheim and is a graduate of the Universität des Saarlands, a German Certified Public Tax Advisor and a German Certified Public Accountant.
